Balsall Common Painting & Art Group (“BCPAG”)
When: Second and fourth Thursday of each month, between 2.00 and 4.00pm. Where: Common Room at Michael Blanning Place, Gorton Croft, Balsall Common, CV7 7UT. Cost: £4.00 on our first meeting of each month. The Balsall Common Painting & Art Group (formerly the Painting Group) is looking for new members. We were never a large group but in the recent past we have become even fewer.
We now meet on the second and fourth Thursday of each month (so that those members who wish to do so can attend the monthly core meetings with ease).
We meet in the Common Room at Michael Blanning Place, Gorton Croft, Balsall Common, CV7 7UT, between 2.00 and 4.00pm and each pay £4.00 on our first meeting of each month. This covers use of the room and gardens, together with tea/coffee and biscuits.
Most of the members work in watercolour, acrylic or oil pastels and another produces mixed media collages. We look forward to visiting local art galleries in the coming year, especially the excellent Barber Institute and the equally excellent BMAG, both of which are on our doorstep in Birmingham.
Do come and join us on Thursdays. Bring your painting, embroidery, collages — it’s all art. We do have a laugh and banter. We are a helpful bunch and don’t take ourselves too seriously. Come on, give it a try. We’d love to see you
