On Friday 3rd June 2022, the people of Balsall Common gathered in Lavender Hall Park to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The weather was rather moist so many wore water-proofs or carried umbrellas. John Bolt and Angela Reid wandered around talking to people and taking photos, including children with face paint, families, dogs and some who had dressed up for the occasion. We were entertained by two bands: the Old Time Sailors and Chasing Deer.
