Wednesday 16th March, 18 ramblers met at the Bulls Head at Barston.  The weather forecast was not good, it was dry at the start but within an hour the rain started and lasted for the remainder of the walk.  Led by Juliet Hancox, the group walked towards Eastcote, before joining the canal towpath towards Knowle, then turning back across fields to Barston.  Parts of the walk were muddy underfoot due to rain in the past weeks.  Despite the negatives the walkers enjoyed the route, it was the first walk Juliet had led for the u3a.
